NESA Accreditation

Previously our school programs were NESA accredited for NSW educators prior to 2020.

On November 30, 2020 NESA announced the completion of an internal review into accredited courses and course providers. As a direct result of this review, all previously accredited NESA providers (including Smiling Mind) have been de-registered, effective immediately.

We have not applied for re-accreditation.

In following years after Nov 2020 educators were able to reference hours spent completing Smiling Mind courses as teacher PD hours or teacher-identified PD hours. To assist you in self-recording these hours, our modules address standards were 4.4.2 and 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
