Survey Links and Results

Accessing your educator survey

If you’re an educator at an Australian school with an active Smiling Mind subscription, survey links will be emailed directly to educators.

Depending on the time of year, you will receive the

  • Getting Started Survey for Educators

To access it:

  • Once received, open the survey link in the email to complete the survey via your laptop, tablet, or phone.

If you can’t find the email:

Accessing your student survey

The Student Check-In Survey link will be provided by email for your school to share with students (Years 3–6) when it’s time to complete the survey.

Educators can then facilitate the surveys in their classroom. Students can complete the surveys in different ways depending on your classroom setup:

  • Classroom with devices: Students can complete the survey using classroom devices or their own devices (as permitted by your school).
  • Small groups or limited devices: If you have limited devices, use a rotation system where students take turns completing the survey.
  • Survey at home: Share the student survey link with parents and caregivers so students can complete the survey at home

Tips for completion:

  • Classroom with devices: students can complete the survey on classroom devices (or their own if permitted).
  • Limited devices: set up a rotation so small groups can take turns.
  • At home: share the link with parents/caregivers so students can complete it at home.

Accessing your survey results (dashboard report)

If your school meets the minimum response thresholds, we’ll email your school a dashboard report with your results.

Minimum response thresholds:

  • Getting Started Survey (educators): at least 4 educator responses
  • Check-In Surveys (educators + students): at least 4 educator responses and at least 30 student responses

When you’ll receive results:

  • Reports are sent the following term after surveys are completed (for example: complete by end of Term 1 → report sent early Term 2).

If you haven’t received your results yet:

Your access to the results will be provided via an email.

Detailed implementation information can be found in the implementation section of the Primary Classroom Curriculum > Implementation guide > Evaluating Program Impact - link here
