Creating a Learning Hub account

You will need your access key before you can create a Learning Hub account.
If you work in an Australian school, please use your education email address to create your Learning Hub account.

  • Visit the Learning Hub website and click 'Create Account' in the top right hand corner.

  • Enter your first name, email address and a password* you’ll use for the Learning Hub. Then click 'Sign Up' and leave the tab open. You will receive a verification email from Smiling Mind.

*Your password must be 12 characters long. Remember, it’s important you don’t use the same password across different services accounts. We also recommend using a passphrase to increase the security of your account.

  • Find the verification email from Smiling Mind in your inbox, and click on the verification link.

  • Follow the onboarding prompts to complete your Learning Hub registration

If your verification email doesn't appear in your inbox, please check your Spam or Junk folders. If the email hasn't appeared within 30 minutes, please contact us.

Onboarding

For those working in an Australian school:

  • We will first ask you if you're in Australia, and then ask if you are working in an Australian school

  • We will then ask you to specify your school by providing the school's postcode, then selecting your school from the drop-down menu
  • Then, you will need to provide your access key

  • Then, we will ask you about the type of role you have at your school

  • Then, we will ask you which year levels you have most contact with at your school

  • On the next screen you have the option to provide your Teacher Accreditation details
  • Then, we will ask you about your experience with Smiling Mind

  • On the final screen, you will be asked:
    • To indicate whether you are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin
    • To agree to the Learning Hub Usage Terms

For everyone else (in Australia but not working in a school, or outside of Australia)

  • The process is very similar to what is displayed above
  • We will ask you whether you're using the product as an individual, within an educational organisation, or another type of organisation
    • If you select educational organisation or other organisation, we'll ask you to specify the organisation
    • If you are outside of Australia and specify you're signing up as an individual, we'll ask you which country you are in
  • Then, you will need to provide your access key
  • Then, we will ask you about the type of role you have
  • Then, we will ask you about your experience with Smiling Mind
  • On the final screen, you will be asked:
    • If you are in Australia, you will be asked to indicate whether you are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin
    • To agree to the Learning Hub Usage Terms
